missed big crash early. had to pull in at top of 1st big climb front break loose so neutral fixed then full gas descent thru cars to get back on. on conor pass, last cat1 got over in 3rd grp, dropped jan kirsipu, tour de france stage winner on climb! big decent with 4pros to catch grp infront but no joy. passed rider in drain after big spill. punctured lug, broken ribs n collar bone. rode hard to annascaul n lads sat up as not catch grp in front. caught from grps behind with 5km to go n rolled in.

hard day 118mile. started off tempo n all good. got over cat3 n cat1 in first 40. then down back to fix dodgy wheel. spent too long down back before moving up n race went full gas. too many tired legs in bunch n went to pieces at back. couldnt get back on so sat up n rolled in. lost lot of time but matters little by sun more important not to waste energy on lost causes. legs be good tom ... i hope
